Celie has trouble

Celie has trouble 

sleeping and is not sure why, at first

Then she realizes she has wronged sofia, by telling harpo that he ought to beat her. 

One day Sofia comes to Celie 

and returns the curtains 

Celie made for Sofia and Harpo's houses to make it look nice 

Celie admits that she was jealous of sofia ability 

At that was to was to stand up to a men

Bellringer

 My neighborhood is nice and it’s clean and it  have big houses. The houses stand out for the neighborhood. No there is no eyesore I live in a nice neighborhood. It’s a straight neighborhood it’s not really the much crime that happens in it. They really don’t allow me to walk out of the neighborhood but if I get pick up then yeah they will let me go out.
